Enzo Maccarinelli is still in the dark over when he will return to the ring. The Welsh cruiserweight has not fought since March 2008, Maccarinelli, 28, had been due to make his comeback in July against Jonathon Banks, but that date was put back to September and now it has changed again. "It's massively frustrating. I was meant to be boxing in July, and then September but I'm professional and know these things do happen," he said. Maccarinelli is desperate to make amends for his defeat to Haye at the O2 Arena. And he will have an opportunity to make up for that loss when he takes on Banks for the WBO title, which Haye vacated in order to move up to heavyweight. IBO champion Banks is number one in the World Boxing Organisation rankings and could be paid 60% of the $450,000 purse (£227,000) for coming to fight in the UK. Maccarinelli, from Swansea, is now hoping for the showdown in Cardiff. "Frank Warren and Sports Network have won the fight and they are discussing TV dates for when the fight can take place," said Maccarinelli. "I'm guessing because it is a Frank Warren fight it'll be in Cardiff but again nothing is certain." He added: "It's been a long time since I last fought and I just want to get back in the ring. "I've been fit and ready since July, and Jonathan Banks is going to get the end of my frustration. He's going to get knocked out."
